Adelaide’s Custom Piano String Covers
Made from 100% German wool, Adelaide’s custom string covers will provide the inside of your piano with protection from dust, debris, and moisture. A string cover will also protect the piano from temperature and humidity changes that effect the tuning stability. Wool is known for its wicking characteristics and will help to remove moisture from the air that surrounds the strings. Having a custom wool string cover is essential for providing proper care for your instrument and is proven to protect your investment. Our string covers come in a 1.2mm and 2mm thick wool. Both qualities of wool felt will protect your piano, but if you live in a coastal community or an area that attracts a lot of dust or pet hair, we highly recommend the 2mm thick felt. Color options for the 2mm thick felt are red, burgundy, brown, black and royal blue. Color options for the 1.2mm thick felt are black, red, navy blue, and brown.
Prices for our string covers start at $350 for the 1.2mm felt and $450 for the 2mm felt plus shipping.
