Adelaide's Piano Services was founded on two grand principles: Quality of service and the love for music. In fact, the name "Adelaide" came from Ludwig Van Beethoven's Adelaide, Opus 46 composed in Vienna, Germany, in 1795.
We offer an array of services that include piano tuning, action regulating, Dampp-Chaser System installation, and clean/detailing. We proudly serve all of San Diego and Stanislaus Counties.
Meet Christy
My name is Christy Fogerty. I was born and raised in San Diego, CA. I studied business management at Oregon State University and the University of California, Riverside.
I grew up playing golf and the piano. I started both when I was about 5 years old. I developed an interest in piano repair, tuning, regulating and rebuilding shortly after I graduated college. I studied the Randy Potter School of Piano Technology correspondence course but felt like I needed hands-on experience.
This is when I reached out to the great Paul Robinson of The Acme Piano Company. Paul is an amazing technician and has taught me almost everything I know.
As of May 2022, I have re-located to Modesto, California to train with the highly regarded and skilled Erwin Family who specialize in Steinway restoration. Here I am learning the intricacies of rebuilding, regulating, repairs, tonal improvement, belly work (fine woodworking), and much more.
